PEACH: Year in Review

The PEACH team wishes you a happy holiday.

As we reflect on the year that has passed, we are proud of how much we have accomplished – we have done so much with so few resources, instead relying on a group of dedicated and passionate climate action champions. PEACH is fueled by volunteers, and in our first two years, we have made many partnerships and nudged the provincial health system toward a more sustainable future. So much has been done in the areas of leadership, education, procurement, deprescribing and natural systems. As we grow and expand, we are proud to share that we have recently brought on our first employee, Fiona Parascandalo, a research coordinator hired from the Dean's office at McMaster and situated in family medicine building. We look forward to another successful year with the goal to reach new healthcare professionals and show that climate action matters – and that we all have a role to play.

Happy Holidays!
