"Social Services Without Walls"

Hello Parents!

We have much to celebrate and share with you, thanks for taking the time to review this communication.

August is Back to School Month!

Parents, now is the time to get ready for the upcoming academic year. Whether your children are freshman starting their first year of high school or little ones going into kindergarten, what an exciting time this is.

DATES TO CELEBRATE

Black Business Month, also known as African American Small Business Month, is celebrated every year in August. It gives the country an opportunity to recognize the importance of black-owned businesses with special events and support.

August 9th was National Women's Day. To all the exceptional women in our lives, we thank you for being you...every woman is a hero!

August 10th was National Psychiatric Technician Appreciation Day! To the psychiatric professionals who work hard behind the scenes, we thank you.

Dear PTS Parents,

Our Foster Parents are an essential part of our agency and it is important that we recognize you all for the work that you do. Each month, we want to publicly acknowledge and show appreciation for the time and devotion that you all put into the lives of our youth day in and day out.

THIS MONTH WE ARE RECOGNIZING:

Barbara Knight

THANKS FOR YOUR DEDICATION!

TAKE ACTION:

As we round out the year, be sure to sign up for any in-service training. On the bottom of this communication you will find links to upcoming trainings and our 2022 training calendar.

SPREAD THE WORD:

Do you know of a Black Owned business that you would refer?

If your answer is yes then Black Business Month is something you might want to consider taking advantage of. Tell a friend to tell a friend about a Black business and how they can support them!!

GET PREPARED

During Back to School Month, there are several ways to get prepared for the upcoming school year. One tip to ensure a successful start is to take a few minutes to outline your household's adjusted schedule and back to school routine.
