May E-Newsletter

This year, in recognition of Mental Health Month, we teamed up with Healthy Bodies Healthy Minds and the Washington County Coalition for Children to launch a new mental health campaign - Below the Surface. Below the Surface is a campaign made by youth for youth with the goal being to connect students to stress reduction and crisis support. We worked with the campaign creators at NAMI Colorado Springs to build off their successes and the impact of our QR code sign initiative.  We hope you join us for a Facebook Live launch event on May 18th - more information coming soon!

We look forward to working alongside the Chris Collins Foundation to get the posters, cards, and stickers throughout the county. Interested in getting come campaign materials? Email us at Dan@CharihoYouth.org

NEW Stress Reduction Resources

We are introducing a new and improved Stress Reduction section to our website! There are three new categories that contain activities, videos and skills to help with releasing stress. These categories are called “Healthy Distractions”, “Engaging Senses” and “Comforts & Encouragements”. This new resource is a great way to brainstorm ideas, expand stress reduction skills and download activities. The best part is, we will continue to update regularly!
