Thank you for being you.

Quick Update

Hello friends! It's been a hot minute. I think I'm going to demote the newsletter from being "weekly," to declaring it bi-weekly. Honestly, we all know that's not going to change anything... considering I'm always behind and it's been sent out on more of a bi-weekly schedule naturally anyways. (Ooops!) I'm still going to go about my creating schedule just the same, but I'm not going to promote/promise it to be "weekly" anymore. But who knows, there may be a few weeks where it does happen to be a few in a row!

You Are Exactly Where You Are Supposed To Be

One of the most important lessons I've learned on my journey thus far, and one I have been reminded to reconnect with in the last week or so, is that "you are exactly where you are supposed to be." I believe that the universe throws us curveballs and challenges that it knows we can handle. Each designed for our unique path. Obstacles that we are meant to overcome, grow through, absorb, learn from, or develop with. Whether it be a challenge in overcoming obstacles within your mental health, or family/friends/relationships, or work, or all of the above combined. You are exactly where you are supposed to be. And if there is anything I've learned about that right there, it's that when we push up against it, the minute we refuse to accept and acknowledge where we are, and refuse to react to it in a positive way, that's when negativity seeps into our being— which only makes everything else that much harder. The more negative our outlook and our perceptions are, the nastier we are, the more it affects our relationships and jobs, the less productive we are, and the less likely we are to move away from the situations and the chapters of our lives that we aren't so keen on staying in. Don't resist it. Sure, your current situation may not perhaps be the brightest— but that's okay. It's where you are right now. It doesn't need to be forever.

So, whatever you're trying to bring into your life— be it letting go of a poor habit, or a positive set of relationships, or a career move, etc. etc. ......Just remember that we may not be able to control what happens to us, or what situations we're born into. But we can choose how to react to it. There are a million and one paths you can take. Several options. Pick one. And go for it. And then pick another, and go for that. And repeat. I believe in you. You can create virtually anything you put your mind to baby baby.

Thank you for being your unique self. The world needs your unique deliciousness. And I can't wait to see what you create and do along your own path. You've got this. You really do.

Catch ya next Sunday,

"The Study Hall Climate Positivity summit was a timely reminder that sustainability is not about focusing simply on recycled materials, or consuming less and wearing clothes for longer, it is about the cultural, social and environmental dynamics that drive the industry at large, and addressing the triggers for change."
