KIDS MMA GRADING SYLLABUS Grading 24th August. Testing Sarts 12th Aug
LADIES BJJ CLASS TUES AND THURS 5 PM (same time as kids BJJ, start date tba) 
PRODIGY KIDS BJJ 3-7YRS Starts Tuesday, September 3rd 3.30pm
YOUNG MENS MENTORING GROUP. A PROGRAM FOR OUR TEENS TO DEVELOP STRONG VALUES AND CONFIDENCE IN TRANSITIONING INTO ADULTHOOD. (not mma training. A WORKSHOP for positive mental health and high-performance training)  

KIDS MMA NEW GRADING SYSTEM
NEXT GRADING SAT 24TH AUGUST

A new Strike MMA Kids System has been developed in assessing the kids in the weeks leading up to the grading day. There will be a transparent list of techniques required for scoring points in various aspects of learning and demonstrating skills with club values.
Students will know what they need to work on skill-wise and practice accordingly. Also scored high is positive attitude, connection and focus. With scores tallied there is the possibility of being warded two stripes.

Submission Grappling Tournament (White Belts)
Lorenz Araneda and Josh Abbott do well in Competition in the white
belt only Gi and No Gi event on July 28th
                    
Josh Abbott 1 x Gold Medal 6 matches 2 subs, 4 draws.
                           Lorenz Araneda 13 matches, 10 draws, 3 losses. 

Antaliya Drakulic wins Blog Competition for the Stealth battle Gi.

GYM RULES ETIQUETTE & HYGIENE
Please Adhere to the following Gym Rules
Everyone training who enters the gym must sign in at reception. Tick your membership status.
Lower ranked belts must move out of the way (reposition) when rolling near Higher Belts on the mats. 
Students must Bow when entering and leaving the matted areas. 
Injuries must be reported to staff and first aid report form filled out.
Thongs to be worn off of the mats with no shoes allowed on the mats.
Shower before and after training for hygiene and lowering the risk of transferring germs and bacteria. Use hand wash and sanitizers placed around the gym.
Please do not come to training if you are infected with a cold or flu (it spreads).
Fingernails and toenails must be trimmed as to not cut yourself or training partners. 
No Jewelry to be worn whilst training.
