Fort Worth-Dallas high-speed rail along I30 back on fast track.

Summary: Starting in September, the DFW high speed rail project will start moving more quickly. The 31-mile line, along I30, will allow travel between Fort Worth and Dallas in about twenty minutes. Stops on the line include downtown Fort Worth -- twenty miles from Willow Park.

Ace Hardware in Willow Park, new owner and new life

Summary: It started as resistance to the 9/11 attacks on America; on 9/14/2001, the Milams started their Ace Hardware. And now, Mark Labadie, the new owner, has begun the task of revitalizing the long-time Willow Park business.

  • 06 September, 2023. On the first Wednesday of every month, the ESD1 Fire House in Willow Park conducts a full test of the Willow Park outdoor siren warning system. At 1 p.m. you may hear about three (3) minutes of siren noise during the test.

  •  09 September 2023, 7:30a -10:30a, September 11, Together We Remember: a joint event in partnership with The Shops at Willow Park. The City will honor those lost on 9/11 and hold a ceremony in conjunction wit the times of each plane crash.
