The past two months have flown by as usual. As I sit and search through my many pictures and reflect on all God is doing, I am humbled and once again amazed at His goodness to us.
We continue to gather together weekly in our home for worship and encourage each other in God's word and all He is teaching us. Most weeks, we have many who don't yet know Jesus coming and hearing the gospel. We pray as they hear, God's Spirit will open their eyes and hearts to believe.
We praise GOD that David and Nan's second oldest daughter, Harmony, was baptized in July. After months of prayer and growing in her knowledge of Christ, she was eager to share her testimony and show everyone that she had chosen to follow Jesus!
In July, a large group of our church family (22 of us) was able to make the trip north to Mae Sot to visit sister Zion, sister Khu Khu, and the refugee children. We spent our time visiting them, worshiping, playing and trying to be a blessing to them, but as usual, it was such an encouragement and blessing to us!!! We also visited several other places that God used in great ways to change us and speak to our hearts. We are always so blessed to be able to connect with the people there and see all God is doing.
We thank GOD for them and we ask you to continue to remember them all in your prayers. Our sisters Zion and Khu Khu are caring for the needs of 20 children and young adults daily. They do morning and night devotional times, teaching them God's word and sharing the truth of the gospel with them. We praise God that some of them have come to faith in Christ because of this!
We were so excited to have Levi spend 60 days of his summer break here serving the Lord with us again! This was his 3rd trip to Thailand, and every time he comes, we see him grow more in the Lord and his desire for the gospel to go forth. We praise God for his willingness to serve! Our daughter Chloe was able to spend her whole 90 day summer break here doing the same. It is such a joy as a parents to watch your child grow in their love for God and serving Him!
We are excited to have our Pak Nam classes continue, and both the adult and kids classes are very full of students eager to learn. We are now teaching on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons, leaving time for visiting students' homes or going to the market with them to grow our relationships with our students. Please pray for them to have open hearts to Christ! Last night was our first opportunity for that, and it was a great time!
Many from our church family continue visiting homes weekly to share the gospel. Many of our student's families live in the rubber farms far outside of town, but we love traveling to see them and their openness to our visits and sharing about Christ. Please pray for the many people who have heard to believe!
Again, we want to thank you for your prayers and support! God is so good and faithful! There is no place we would rather be than here, sharing about Jesus with those who have never heard!
