AIH is having a SawStop demonstration on July 11th. Please come and see the new tools available from this company. Our table saw in the AIH shop area is a Saw Stop and it’s a great tool. |

New Shop Space: Construction on our new shop space at the Commercial drive AIH will start soon. We are being given approximately 1500 square feet of space in their store. We will have our own entrance and will be able to meet after store hours for classes and meetings. This new space will enable us to have bigger classes, more storage, and hopefully more tools. MANY, MANY THANKS TO AIH!!!!!!!! |

Update From the Scrollers: The scrollers are off for the summer, but we will be needing volunteers to demonstrate at the State Fair. We’ve added three new patterns for giving to the children at the fair. Please let Rhonda know if you can help out. There is wood available for anyone who would like to make tray or stand up puzzles for The Special Santa toy drive. Matsu pediatric floor says they still have puzzles from last year. We have not had contact from the Anchorage hospitals. July is a good time to start planning for Christmas. There will be a clock making class in September. Check out all the other classes that will be offered this year at AIH. Enjoy your summer. Happy Scrolling! |
