Larry will start the first half of the meeting by making a shallow wide rim bowl. This versatile wide rim bowl is made from easily obtained wood and can be left natural or enhanced with embellishment. For the more experienced woodturners and to inspire the newer members, Larry will also share a few examples of how the bowl can be modified/embellished to the extreme.
In the second half he will give a brief overview of pyrography, show the making of a spiral pyrography stamp/brand, cover how he does his pyrography, open the floor to questions, and lastly (if time permits) share a demonstration on his method of doing large scale pyrography stamping.
