March Happenings

"You don't have to be perfect to be amazing."

-unknown

Hey

The end of March marks the end of the first quarter of the year, and just like I've encouraged you to do I too have set my intentions for what I wanted to accomplish by the end of the first quarter of this year.

A few days ago I looked back at my list and realized I had marked off 3 out of the 5 intentions I wrote.  Exciting!...but about the other two.  I started thinking "Ugh!  I should've hustled harder."  We're SLP's we like to meet our targets ya' know!  I had to take a step back and remind myself of the screensaver on my phone, which reads "You don't have to be perfect to be amazing." (author unknown).  The quote came up again in a conversation with my mentee, then again with a fellow parishioner, three times in one week so it's something I can't ignore and pass on sharing with you.

Imperfections don't discredit all that you do that IS amazing!

You don't have to be perfect to be amazing and still do amazing things!

March Challenge

Next time you have a spare 5 minutes, jot down a few things you have done and managed to keep from falling apart the past 2 months, doesn't matter what it is.  We are so tough on ourselves, but I bet you will realize how many things you have tackled head on without even thinking twice about.  it's just the stuff that's in you.  Give yourself credit and the courage to say "I am pretty amazing.".
