 ICYMI

I was juried into a 3 week exhibition in St. Petersburg FL at The Studio@620.  I had 3  paintings on the walls until closing on Tuesday, May 25.  The Studio@620 is a creative visual and performing arts center located in the heart of Downtown St. Petersburg. From art exhibits to dance programs, literary discussions, films or concerts, it is a continually changing schedule.  The Studio@620 was professional and did a fantastic job of curating a show including artists with many types of practices.  I met nice people and explored the creativity of St. Pete which is an hour to the north of Longboat Key.

WHY I LOVE IT

This is a commission. I enjoyed every aspect of the  process of working with the collectors and the gallerist, Eva Trout of Firebox Art Studios. Like a custom suit, it was designed to fit into their home.  The deep rusty reds, teal, midnight blue and generous whites will live peacefully with the happy collectors in their interior style!

Last But Not Least: UPCOMING Group Exhibition
