Cookies - February 6: Pre-Sales & Online sales begin
- February 12-18: Initial order cookie deliveries
- February 20: Cookie Go Day & Booth Go Day, Cookie Cupboards open
- March 19: First ACH withdrawal from troop bank account for troop cookie inventory (As of March 12)
- April 2: Cookie sales ends

Annual Encampment (April 16 - 18) Due to coronavirus, Minneapolis Lakes' Annual Encampment will be a family encampment this year (families will stay together in a cabin or yurt). Cadettes, Seniors & Ambassadors who are interested in helping lead and plan this event, our first two planning sessions will be on February 8th and February 22nd at 6:30 pm on Zoom. Register here if you are a CSA Troop/Juliette interested in helping to plan and lead this event. Family Cabin, Yurt, and Campsite Rental Opportunity (now through March 31st) Families can rent select cabins, yurts, and campsites at our camps. Congratulations to Megan! Megan is a Minneapolis Lakes Ambassador who recently earned the Gold Award! For her Gold Award project, Megan developed an organics recycling system and compost educational program for Camp Lakamaga. Starting in 2021, when you attend Lakamaga, you will be able to compost, courtesy of a Gold Girl! |

Join Girl Scouts for Free Through Feb 28, 2021 Lean on Girl Scouts during these challenging times, and beyond. For a limited time, we’re offering free memberships ($25 value) to girls in grades K-12 who join anytime from January 1, 2021 through February 28, 2021. From February–May 2021, girls in grades K-3 will be invited to virtual sessions led by our youth program experts. Did you hear? 2021 Resident Camp registration opens Feb 9 - 11th! This year resident camp will be taking place at Camp Lakamaga and Camp Elk River. In other exciting news, the yurts we love at Camp Lakamaga are even better! They have an outlet and an LED light! There are now 5 of the heated yurts with outlets and Camp Lakamaga has added 2 seasonal yurts (no heat, no outlet) to replace the Cantebury platform tents. | | |
