Sorry again for the late newsletter uploading is going to be a problem this week. In Christianity, Holy Monday is the last Monday prior to Easter Sunday; it is the second day of Holy Week after Palm Sunday. Some denominations celebrate Holy Monday, and some do not. The Eastern Orthodox Church observes the day, typically marking it with Bible readings and certain hymns.According to tradition, Holy Monday is the day on which Jesus cleansed the temple, was praised by local children, and cursed the fig tree (Matthew 21:12–22). It is the day following Palm Sunday, when Jesus came to Jerusalem in the triumphal entry (Matthew 21:1–11). The following day is sometimes referred to as Holy Tuesday, the third day of Holy Week. During this holy week I will be posting 15 minute study videos about the meaning of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter. I also have posted some articles down below to help you understand Holy Monday more. Please look at the resources we have provided and I hope you will be blessed stay tuned for upcoming videos. If you felt like god was speaking to you thru this video and now you want to have a relationship with Jesus Christ please read God's plan of salvation. Well New Grace until next time remember my saying whatever you do for Christ shall last long! Your Friend In Christ, Pastor Tre |

How many times did Jesus cleanse the temple?Question: "How many times did Jesus cleanse the temple? Why did He cleanse the temple?" Answer: Jesus cleansed the temple of the money-changers and sellers of merchandise because of His disgust at what they had made of God's house of prayer and His zeal to purify it from the abuse of ungodly men. |
