Hello from the other side of a much-needed break!
I decided to take a four-week hiatus from teaching yoga classes – a pause to recharge, time to check off things that have been on my to-do list for way too long and to be creative.
I deliberately didn't jet off anywhere during my break. Instead of just a week or two, I stretched it to four weeks to really slow down, maybe even get a bit bored. Funny thing is, I'm not sure I know how to be bored. But I'm sure that is actually a good thing.
So besides the checking off things, practicing my A1/A2 Spanish, bought a rain barrel to ice dip on my balcony multiple times a week- I decluttered my life starting with areas in my apartment, got back in contact with people that drifted away over the years, deleted and created playlists aaand so on... I just felt the need for more clarity which also allowed me to be more creative.
CLEARITY & CREATIVITY.... uff so good!!
*You should "try that (at home)"
I got many things done but do you know that feeling when you consciously decide to take a break, the stress creeps in. I wanted to make the most of every moment, and it felt a bit like those weekends where you're trying to cram in everything fun.
Even though I'm still in the mood for that kind of freedom in my schedule and do more I am also really happy to move together with you though my vinyasa flows, because I love to share my ideas, to help you relax in my yin classes, to work on your headstand, shoulder mobility, fear of hanging upside down in the aerial yoga hammock and all that jazz...
So if you like to know what's next (besides my weekly studio classes), continue reading...
