Why we Chose Protoje for Moonsplash 2024

Protoje is considered one of the leaders of the reggae revival of the 2010s. Along with artists like past Moonsplash performer Chronixx, Protoje helped to bring a youthful and positive message back to popular reggae music.

Protoje is also instrumental in developing younger reggae talent, and has recently launched his own music festival called "The Lost In Time Festival," now in its second year.

Protoje is an energetic performer who has headlined major reggae festivals across Europe and North America and has also appeared on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

We are blessed to have Protoje gracing the Moonsplash stage.

Moonsplash is a privately run and funded Festival on Anguilla, which receives no Government funding.

We are proud of the fact that we have become a part of the the tourism calendar for the past 34 years, however, our work is a labor of love to promote the arts and preserve the legacy of live music on Anguilla.

We are able to stage the festival every year based on Bankie's reinvestment in the festival, generous support of a few sponsors and benefactors, ticket sales, and a small group of committed volunteers.

Supporters and sponsors allow us to lower the prices we charge for tickets, making the festival accessible for locals and visitors alike.
