together, we're off to a great START |

you are all stars! This past weekend was stellar, with over a hundred home gardeners of all levels and ages coming to PickUp Days at Petaluma Bounty to collect 400 Start Kits and begin a very personal process, volunteering to seed and foster kits, and give them daily TLC until they’re ready to be shared with neighbors in need. We’re over the moon to be continuing this initiative and truly couldn’t do it without you—a network of dedicated star Starters, some previous and some new—and we were thrilled to welcome you all with open arms as you committed very literally to taking matters into your own hands. Thank you for joining us. |

what's next? By now, you’ve all planted and labelled your kits—cilantro, lettuce and onion in the partial sun kits and cucumber, squash and beans in the full sun kits—and found a nice, sunny window spot for them (unless you’ve got a greenhouse, lucky you!). Keep them moist, keep watching and very soon you’ll be seeing the delightful rewards—promising green sprouts peaking above the soil to say hello! Coming next week-- more information on next steps for your starts... |

share & share alike Jacobi and Dynella's Starter aunt posted this heartwarmer and lots of other great pics on social this week. Let's see yours! Don’t forget to tag us @getstarted.garden and keep ‘em coming as the starts grow, showing us your smiling faces along with them, too! |
