|  happy new year  |

Thank you, 2019.

Hello, 2020.

-

2019, one for the books!

...already on day #10 of year 2020 and I'm feeling very nostalgic.

 So, here's a look back

on our 10 favorite moments over the months past,

and a foreshadowing of all the things we're excited about for 2020.

1.

New website- who 'dis?

| thebackwoodsgoods.com |

In 2019- I officially took my social media feed to the next level, the world-wide-web.

The launch of thebackwoodsgoods.com was one of 2019'2 greatest accomplishments.

2.

What's cookin', good lookin'?

Backwoods Good's Sweet & Savory Meringue Pie recipe was featured in Fort Lauderdale Magazine's May Food + Drink Issue. Check it out here.

3.

thirty, flirty and THRIVING.

2019 marked my 1st full year in my 30's- and I officially joined the "over 30 club" this past December.

As I reflect back on my 1st full year in my 30's- something that used to scare the crap out of me- I am so thankful for all the opportunities, experiences, and accomplishments the past 12 months  have brought.

A new age bracket and a new decade means new adventures and new opportunities!

4.

REUNITED and it feels so good.

While the beginning of 2019 brought the deployment of my amazing boyfriend, the end of 2019 brought him back home.

New year, same us- and we are all smiles.

After nearly 11 months, it’s time to hit the road again with my soldier, best friend + foodie partner in crime!

5.

Get in loser, we're going

CROSS COUNTRY.

2019, I want to thank you for adventure.

I traveled over 3,000 miles across the country from my east coast home in New Hampshire to the west coast of California. I am so thankful for the opportunity to explore 12 states and all the adventures that were had along the way!

6.

85 Wilson: Generation II

In 2019 2 of my best friends consecutively brought 2 little peanuts into the world! These two little girls are the newest addition to our 85 Wilson Street crew and now make me an obsessive auntie of 3.

7-9.

Bucket List- check, check and check.

Everyone has a bucket list- right? Categories like "places to see", "activities to try" or "experiences to be had" fill the pages our life long wish-list.

Well- in 2019 I put 3 big check marks in my "places to see" chapter.

Niagra Falls | The Grand Canyon | Zion National park

10.

Ate. Drank. Conquered.

To sum it all up- 2019 was filled with me eating all the eats, drinking all the drinks, and baking all the [backwoods] goods.

And I have no plans but to do

more of it in 2020!
