Dear friends,
An in-depth article in the weekly paper Den Haag Centraal and three glowing CD reviews from the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Luxembourg, all go to ensure that our CD After the Darkness is still getting plenty of attention. The magazine Pizzicato from Luxembourg has even granted us a Supersonic Award!

Unfortunately we don't have translations but using Google Translate helps to get the general idea! In addition, from this month you will be able to buy the CD in the museum shop of the Joods Historisch Museum in Amsterdam.
We would like to remind you of our upcoming concerts this month, both of which will take place in the weekend of 18th and 19th May.
Our first concert will be at 8 p.m. on Saturday evening, 18th May in a beautifully restored farmhouse in Poederoijen, a picturesque village in the province of Gelderland. On the programme will be string trios by Schubert, Beethoven and Hans Krása and Gideon Klein, two composers who were prisoners in camp Terezìn/ Theresienstadt in the Second World War. Their trios were composed during their internment in the camp.
Concert pianist Mascha van Peijpe has been organising these concerts for years, at first together with her late husband, the artist Dick Haakman whose paintings you can enjoy whilst listening to the concert. We recommend you take the opportunity to have a look at his atelier upstairs.
You are asked to please reserve your tickets in advance to help with the preparation of the buffet supper. This is possible up to the Thursday afternoon before the concert.

The following day, Sunday, 19th May, we will perform in the Uilenburgersjoel in Amsterdam. This is the concert from our previous mailing, the concert we have been able to organise thanks to our successful crowdfunding campaign. The concert will start at 3.00 p.m. and we will play music exclusively from our CD, string trios by Hans Krása, Gideon Klein, Dick Kattenburg and Mieczysław Weinberg. There will be no interval and we hope you will join us for drinks afterwards! Of course, you'll also be able to purchase our CD.
