The Hidalgo County Employee Wellness Program won an Aetna Workplace Well-Being Above and Beyond Award!
This recognition is based on the the Employee Wellness Program's accomplishments over the passed year. This award would not have been possible without the participation and dedication from our employees and especially not without the support and commitment from Hidalgo County leadership. This commitment to well-being has helped create a healthier, happier place to work.
Wellness Challenge: Let's Hydrate Hidalgo!
Last month, the Employee Wellness Program went out to different department locations to weigh-in those who wanted to participate in the summer wellness challenge: Let's Hydrate Hidalgo! Approximately 232 county employees weighed-in.
At the end of the eight-week challenge the top two winners from the men and women categories will be chosen based on the most body-fat percentage lost. Participants will have the option to complete a follow-up weigh-in this week to track their progress. Sign-up for the optional four-week weigh-ins at the button below.
