Featured Headlines: - "We have a dog in the apartment because my roommate is dog sitting!!"
- "I saw Lorde and it was AMAZING!"
- "I went to see Paradise Square!"
Helen, the dog is adorable! Erin, the concert was amazing! I was happy to also see her in concert too! Finally, I did see Paradise Square. The show was ~okay~ but, the vocals and choreography were great! Our news might be small but, it was good news! Want to be featured "In the Headlines"? Share your breaking news here to have the chance to be in the next newsletter! OTHER NEWS: There are a lot of events, places to go, and things to do as the spring continues on. Be sure to find moments and get some rest! Rest is important for your mental and physical health. This past week, I got sick and needed to rest for a week because I kept pushing myself to do more. Make sure not to push yourself to the point of getting sick. Rest isn't an award, it is a requirement. Find a night or a day this coming week and rest the mind, body, and soul. An important reminder that has been coming up a lot for me is that things take time. Time and practice are important when trying to grow at a certain thing. At first, progress is slow going. It might feel like I am not getting anywhere and that I am doing the same thing over and over again. Like anything, progress is incremental. Every time you do something, you learn a little bit more. Eventually, the progress will take off and grow exponentially and that will feeling is euphoric. But until then, practice, learning, and growing. I also try not to forget that mindset even when I am getting better because growth can still be found. |
