| | Showing Now The Arizona Art Alliance is currently hosting their "Interpretations VII" show from March 1st through March 31st in the WHAM West Gallery location in Surprise, AZ, and online at https://azartalliance.com/interpretations-vii-virtual-exhibition-2022/ Opening Reception March 5th In addition to the show, they are hosting a special event on March 20th, "Art & Music through a Humanities Lens" from 2 pm to 3:30 pm in the WHAM Gallery. | | Food Art Wine Benefit Eat, drink and be merry while I paint live for the silent auction benefit of the Desert Foothills Land Trust! March 6th from 11 am to 3 pm at Twist Bistro & Gallery, located in the Summit Plaza in North Scottsdale. I'm thrilled to be one of 4 artists who will be donating their paintings for a silent auction. There will be gourmet hot and cold food, wine tasting, and live music. After many months of instruction in ceramics with Robin Ray at The Sonoran Arts League Arts Learning Studio, I'm branching out with a new medium. . Clay has a mind of its own and I love the challenge and excitement of the unknown. Forming, glazing, firing. No matter how hard you try, happy accidents will occur. When the finished product comes out of the kiln I feel like a child at Christmas, waiting to unwrap my presents. | | The Finer Arts Gallery The Finer Arts Gallery, located in beautiful, quaint Cave Creek Arizona is the newest destination for fabulous fine art. Visitors from all over the world come to the Gallery to see the latest work of our 36 local artists. On average, the Gallery has 60 visitors a day. Open 10 am to 5 pm Tuesday to Sunday. | | Charitable Events Mark your calendars for two great online charitable art events! The Project Wet online auction opens on March 22nd, World Water Day, and closes on Friday, April 1st at 8 pm. Project Wet's mission is to advance water education. Desert Foothills Land Trust, "Art for Land's Sake" auction opens Friday, April 1st, and closes on Monday, April 11th at noon. DFLT is dedicated to protecting the Sonoran Desert Foothills area. Both organizations, 501c(3) non-profits, will feature fine art at affordable prices. | | |
