Happy New Year! Time to Start Anew.
The Gallery ABQ has been at the Hoffmantown Shopping Center for 10 years. We are excited to announce a remodel for the gallery, with new carpet, repainted pedestals, and refreshed walls the second week of January. We will be closed from January 8th until January 24th and reopen on Tuesday, January 25th with a brand new look. When we reopen, new art will be on the walls and floor displays.
First Friday, January 7th, 5-8:00 pm, will be the final night of the Holiday Bazaar. In the gallery, we have many one-of-a-kind gifts of art. In the salon, local artists have small to medium-sized art. The variety of art includes acrylic, ceramics, fused glass, mosaics, oils, and pastels. We follow all of the state’s directives for New Mexico Safe Guidelines. Enjoy shopping in a Covid-safe enviroment!
From February 4-24th, we will be having an open show called “Share the Love.” In this show, we are celebrating pets, humans, or any activity or hobby that brings joy and happiness. Artists from the community are asked to bring in their art for acceptance on January 28th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. A prospectus and Artist Entry Form for this show can be found on our website, or see the article below.
Call for Artists: If you are a local artist looking for a Contemporary Fine Arts Gallery to show your art, please go to our website to get more information about our gallery. The application is online. If you are interested, please send in your application and we can set up a jury date.
