Hi everyone! We did just send out a newsletter, this is just a short message to say thank you and to officially introduce you to someone. |

This is Reuben. You've probably seen him in lots of our photos as we're with him almost all the time! Reuben is our ministry partner, our cultural advisor, our dance teacher (not yet successfully), our Tonga instructor, our voice, and our friend. Almost everywhere we go, we get to take Reuben with us. He is powerful minister of the gospel. |
He translates our words into local languages, contacts our leaders who don't speak English, helps us organize conferences, and points out roads that I swear do not exist. We've discipled him, learned with him, and done our very best to explain why Americans are the way we are. |
And now...he has his very own motorbike. He's ready to start the transition to taking over ministry in the areas we've been doing it together, and he doesn't even need us to chauffeur him any longer. So this is why we're writing to say "thank you"! Thank you so very much, because your gifts to us allowed us to provide reliable transportation for Reuben to carry out ministry on his own. It's a big thing. (on the left: Saviour and Reuben head out on their first ministry trip on their Hondas) |

If you ever want to give directly toward Reuben's (and the rest of the Sustain team's) ministry fund, you can do so at overlandmissions.com/donate, selecting "Sustain" from the department drop down menu. We love you all, the Benders |
