We have been talking about it for months now and it finally happened. On April 16th we were finally able to get our old P.O.S. system to merge with our new P.O.S. system! I have to say it was a challenge and we all hope we never have to go through that again. I need to thank everyone for their patience as we continue to work on this new system. After, cruising through the old one for years we will be working on a slight curve until we are fully comfortable with the new system.
With the new software there are a few changes you will notice on your “Consignor Payout Report”.
1. It looks different, which is to be expected as we are now with a different company.
2. The new system is just sticking to the facts. No more rows of numbers that seemed to cause confusion at times. This new system will only list the consignor’s portion of the sale.
3. Most of you will have a “Balance Transferred” on your sheets this is the amount that was merged over from the previous system. Unfortunately, it does not list what is sold from the previous system. We did try to make that happen but unfortunately, it was beyond all of our talents.
4. It is also much more-clear as to when money was used from your account for a purchase.
I need to give a “HUGE THANK YOU” out to the “Déjà vu Ladies” as they have been handling everything with stride and we are getting better at the system every day. They have all understood the level of concern that is needed in making sure everything is right for not only us but for our customers too. I need to give an even “BIGGER THANK YOU” to Erin as she has been the one working with the software company and I to figure everything out, she has worked long hours and late into the night just so we move in the right directions with the new P.O.S. system. I am truly blessed to have such a great daughter by my side and I look forward to seeing her every day!
Please continue to have patience with us as we are repeatedly asking all consignors to verify their addresses, phone numbers, etc. We truly want to make sure everything was processed correctly so please be understanding if you continue to ask you to verify with us.
We are currently taking 2 medium boxes of items a day per consigner. Please remember to have your medium box marked with your first and last name in legible hand writing. Do not use your first initial as there are to many people out there that have your last name and have your same 1st initial. Please make sure your items are clean, in working condition and folded nicely so they are ready to go out as we mark them. If they are not, we will be donating them on. As unfortunate as this sounds if items are not in sellable condition people are not interested in buying them and our floor space is too valuable to put out items that do not sell.
If you have furniture, please get it pre-approved by sending us an email, messaging us through Facebook or bring in a picture on your phone. We are currently taking spring and summer clothing, Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Eve. Please continue to put all of your Holiday items in a separate box and declare what Holiday is in the box. Remember the sooner you bring items in the better chance they have to sell.
