Land of plays

It has been over a year since I last took the time to sit and reflect through this letter. To be honest, I've missed it but couldn't find the mental space to make it happen. It's been a challenging year with a lot of highs and lows, and the stretch between the two was a reminder that life comes in a full range of colours, situations and emotions and we must embrace it fully.

My latest series of works “Terre de jeux” (land of plays) is a colourful serie of imaginary landscapes.
A magical place where nature and playful geometry dance together.

It has been a safe place to process and explore conflicted feelings and most importantly allow them to co-exist.

A place

My home

I’ve just took part in the Borough of Ealing Art Trail (BEAT) again this year where many artists living in Ealing open their studios to visitors over 2 weekends.

It's always a joy to meet the wonderful community of Ealing art enthusiasts.
This event is even more special for me because it takes place in my home, making the experience very different from other exhibitions I've been part of. I feel that the viewers can better understand the context of the creation as they see it in a very personal and intimate setting.

Our house is a constant work in progress. Every year, the walls are rearranged to accommodate new artworks, and I'm always amazed by the power of art in modifying the atmosphere and soul of a space. I don't think there's a stronger way to give personality and character to our interiors.

Thank you so much to those who visited or bought artworks last weekend. I really cherish every conversation and interaction with you.

I had a great time and can't wait for next year! In the meantime, if you wish to visit again to (re)see an artwork, please let me know. Some of you have already asked to come back this week. I will keep the setting as it is for a couple of weeks.
All available artworks are listed on the
e-shop or in the e-portfolio just below.

A moment

A proud one :)
Last July we closed a cycle of 6 months art classes with 4 fabulous ladies.

It was really nice to see them evolving and growing in their art practice over the months, I’m infinitely grateful in their trust and dedication.

It is time now to welcome a new group! The classes will resume the first Friday of November and trials runs on the 11th Oct 2024.

Please get in touch if you are interested. I know some of you are already on the waiting list from last year and will get back to you very shortly.
I still have some seats available, you can book yours at the link just below ;)

Terre de jeux #9
This multi-layered painting on rough paper is part of my latest series "Terre de jeux".
I enjoyed blending tender memories, patterns and textures, guided by a subjective sense of harmony, and through this process, weaving new territories for us to escape.

A wish

To more nuances
In a world that tends to be more and more polarised, I wish to hold a space for connections and nuances. I wish to hold a space for slowness in a world that tends to move faster. I wish to hold a space for small incremental changes in a world that tends to value only big things. I believe that from gentleness, energy arises. I believe that the energy to create some small changes, compounded over time, yields more sustainable and kinder results.
