April - Autism Acceptance Month During April, we marked Autism Acceptance Month on our social media channels as well as in person. Our Chair & Founder, Jane Green MBE, was invited to talk on Autism and Neurodivergence at the EDS Echo healthcare student program and was exclusively invited as a Fellow to the House of Lords hosted by Chartered College on Ethical Leadership. More exciting education developments to come on this in the future! Jane also reshared her article from GetSurrey a few years ago to raise awareness of Late Diagnosis. ICYMI: you can read below

A community event at St Paul's Cathedral! SEDSConnective was invited to a special 'Warm Welcome Community Event at St Paul’s Cathedral in London. It was a chance to meet many other wonderful community groups and charities, with a special Evensong service. Networking and advocating opportunities like this are really important to us as a charity, and we are always delighted to be invited to take part in such wonderful community events.

May is Hypermobility (EDS HSD) Awareness Month May is an important month in our calendar as we mark the awareness of Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes & Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders. We also celebrate the acceptance of symtomatic hypermobility for those unable to have a formal diagnosis. To celebrate, we have arranged for The Crawley Mall and Brighton Pier in Sussex, England which will be turning Orange to mark the first awareness day. We need Awareness and Acceptance as the leading Neurodivergent and Symptomatic Hypermobility Charity, and are asking our members, followers, friends and families to help support us by sharing our social posts and spreading the word Thank you
