The project “Co-creative RETHINKing

for sustainable cities” - CRETHINK - addresses a need for capacity building adults within the public sector and in civil society for cooperating and co-creating shared solutions to societal challenges in European communities.

The project is now in full swing with all the change agents getting ready to promote each case locally and conduct their own living labs.

The following status report shows each country’s case development.

The Danish case

What are the local needs and relevant approaches to create a more sustainable society? How can small local businesses help support this development and what do they need to do this? These were some of the questions that were discussed during the local training in Vejle, Denmark, conducted by the Danish partner Grønt Forum, which took place from October 13th - 14th.

The Italian case

The emergency caused by COVID-19 has drastically changed the way students move around their cities, preventing most urban activities, limiting travel on large, medium and short distances and reducing the number and intensity of social relationships.

Within this context, sustainable mobility was the focus of the local training conducted in Palermo by the Italian partner CESIE between 12th and 22nd of October.
