Thank You for Supporting Summer Reading! |

We did it! With your help, we read more than 4 million minutes during this year's "All Together Now" Summer Learning Challenge! York County Library would like to extend a big thank you to all summer learning participants and supporters for helping us meet our reading goal, and we hope you enjoyed reading together with family and friends. YCL also thanks the Friends of the York County Library for helping to make this Challenge possible. Those who finished the Challenge can pick up their prizes through August 11. Join us again next year for more thrilling performances, activities, and reading fun! Keep checking yclibrary.org/slc for updates! |

Borrowing Rules Updated with New Item Limits |
The borrowing guidelines for York County Library were recently updated to change the maximum number of items our users may check out at once: York County resident and non-resident cards are limited to 30 items per person, which includes children, teens, and adults. Teacher Cards are limited to 50 items. Please note that these limits exclude special collection items such as mobile hotspots.

These changes follow the move to Symphony, our new catalog system, as a way to help standardize guidelines for all SCLENDS member libraries. If you still haven't tried our new system, you'll need the last four digits of your phone number for your PIN/password to log in, but no PIN is necessary to access Libby or most other Virtual Library services. For more information about our borrowing guidelines, visit our Library Cards page, and learn more about Symphony at yclibrary.org/symphony. |
