Welcome To The Cowboy Campus Connection |
Welcome to the first issue of our Cowboy Campus Connection newsletter! We're excited to be bringing our community this newsletter filled with content, stories, horsemanship and more. Does it feel like the world has gone crazy, social media is overwhelming, and the price of gas has gone through the barn roof? Our intention is that amid all of the craziness, this newsletter will serve as a fun piece of your week and something that the CCU community can look forward to. Sit down with a cup of coffee and relax with The Cowboy Campus Connection. There will be lots of segments of the letter. We'll change, add and subtract them as we go to make the letter the best it can be. But we're aiming to include something for everyone. So scroll on, and enjoy! If there's something you'd like to see in this newsletter, do not hesitate to reach out and let us know! |

Solving The Issue Of Hard To Catch Horses & Teaching Them To Catch YOU! |
Let's talk about catching a horse that does NOT want to be caught. It’s likely that every horse owner is going to experience this at some point. As with any issue, it’s important to remember that you are working with a horse, don’t get it twisted and try not to personify your horse. Horses, understandably, want to spend their time being horses. They are not looking to expend their energy unnecessarily and they love to graze in the pasture! |

Have You Enrolled In Our Free Course Yet!? |

Emily McCartney Of EMc Photography |
True to her roots, Emily McCartney specializes in western photography, where she is able to combine her love of the American West, and the ranching way of life, with her creative image-making and passion for art. Emily is a dear friend of Shelby & Hailey Stewart and is one of Keith's favourite cowboy photographers of all time. The girls first connected with Emily over Instagram and then met her at the 2020 Art Of The Cowgirl event hosted by Tammy Pate! To take a peek into her photography is to virtually experience real ranching cowboys and cowgirls in Texas as well as around the world. We highly suggest you visit her world through her photography at the link below. |
