AUGUST 2022 NEWSLETTER

August is dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary.

And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.
    Hail Mary...

Behold the handmaid of the Lord.

Be it done unto me according to thy word.
    Hail Mary...

And the Word was made flesh.
And dwelt among us.
    Hail Mary...

Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

LET US PRAY
Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ Thy Son was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection. Through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.

For our August outreach, we will be supporting the Meals 4 Health and Healing Program. The Heimerdinger Foundation provides and delivers nutrient-dense meals and nutrition education free of charge to people facing cancer through its signature Meals 4 Health and Healing program. Here are the items we're collecting:

1) Organic foods, especially dried beans and grains

2) Service items like plastic wrap, foil and parchment paper

Food items needed are: kidney, garbanzo, lentils, black beans, azuki, and white beans (bulk beans at Sprouts and Whole Foods are organic), brown rice, quinoa, wild rice, black rice, fonio, buckwheat noodles, brown rice noodles, lentil pasta, chickpea pasta, and quinoa pasta.
