After a sunny warm Summer, October is here with exciting news! We are very pleased to announce the opening of "CROSSROADS", an exhibition bringing together three talented Latinamerican women artists: Diana Valarezo from Ecuador, Claudia Castillo from Colombia and Ivonne Kennedy from Mexico. We are working hard in partnership with our dear friends of Martin's Atelier to bring you a unique show. It will be accessible both in person -with all health measures in place- as well as through an online viewing room. Initially, CROSSROADS was planned to take place in March 2020, and had to be postponed as Covid got on the way. As we all go back to the "new normal", it is our great pleasure to finally make it happen! Learn more about the stories behind these accomplished artists below and keep reading to find out the details of the coming events. We want to take this opportunity to thank our followers and collectors for the great enthusiasm and support they have showed for the exclusive release in Europe of Vértigo Graffiti's first serigraphy series of "El Beso de los Invisibles", which is finding new homes all across Europe. If you would like to have a copy of this Golden Edition series send us a message to ikal.independent.art@gmail.com. Finally, we want to share with you what our artists have been doing during these last months. From the opening of a new studio-gallery in Mexico to a whole new body of work produced during isolation in Nice. |
