Seasonal businesses have the ability to make the year fly by. I am celebrating my 38th season of being the First Lady of Fun. January has flown by with loads of family activities and exciting planning for the opening of Fulton's Winter Magic and Maple Harvest Season on February 17.
It was great fun meeting many of you at the Cedar Hill Christmas Tree Farm before Christmas. When you come to Fulton's during the maple season, remember to bring the BOGO card you received when you bought your Christmas tree. This will entitle you to a free Fulton's meal with the purchase of any meal of equal or greater value. Feast on pancakes, gluten-free waffles, vegetarian maple baked beans, sausages or bacon, quiche and a range of yummy desserts!
January and February are months of high energy and planning at Fultons. The computers are buzzing, phones ringing, stoves and waffle irons are hot, candy machines are stirring, dust bunnies are being tamed, shelves are being stocked, the 4-wheeler is humming, tappers are being tuned and snow is crunching with Scott's footsteps.
Amongst all this human activity our maples stand quietly soaking up cold temperatures, rain and snow storms and beautiful winter sunshine. They await Scott (like generations before him) to visit each one of them and ask that they provide our family once again with a healthy portion of their sap. For six generations our family has been supported by these magestic giants.
Our whole family and our Team Awesome staff are ready to open our doors to your family on February 17. We encourage you to Come Play In Our Backyard!
Sweet maple wishes to you,
Shirley Fulton-Deugo
