A new blog post about another awesome couple of days on MEI's Teaching Advanced Maths course, which has totally changed the way I teach A Level for the better.
 
New/improved lessons on linear nth term, using a calculator (for the Casio fx85-GT) and solving trigonometric equations.

I designed this quiz for my second set year 9 class. A good mix of foundation questions with a little bit of Christmassy fun scattered in. There's an answer sheet too. Please adapt and use as you need to.

I was introduced to this fantastic website this month. It supports KS5 teaching with a wide variety of rich tasks. I've used a few in the last couple of weeks. If you haven't seen it before, be sure to check it out.
