Hello everyone!

Sorry for the uncharacteristically long break between newsletters. I've been busy with both work and play, but I've also been enjoying some much-needed time away from the computer/social media, so my apologies!

Read on to see what I've been up to since May <img height="22" src="https://static.wixstatic.com/media/5e9922_7fe0c22151324d13926ffbc0214544c8.png_256" width="22">

I got to play two women from the past in two very different projects. Kelmarsh House is having a refurbishment, and they're hoping to implement an interactive app which will allow visitors to meet the people who used to live in the house when you take a guided tour with your/a tablet. I portrayed Nancy Tree (photo on right), who was an American woman who moved to Britain in the early 20th century, and became the originator of the "Shabby Chic" interior design trend. It was facinating to find out more about this creative woman!

I also got to portray Princess Sophie (photo on left), in an upcoming episode of "Wartime Crimes". This princess lost her jewellery during the American occupation of her family's castle during the WWII, but at least she still has her furs...

(and a fun feather hat <img height="22" src="https://static.wixstatic.com/media/5e9922_c812a646f00a4a9eb04d1d8f44771c57.png_256" width="22">)

You may remember that my last Newsletter contained some "behind the scenes" photos of the Spring Collection from REVIVAL. Well, the final photos have been popping up all over their website and social media this summer, so if you follow them you've probably already seen some of these. Here's a small collection of a few of my favorites!

While I celebrated my 30th birthday in March, my dear friend Karina celebrated the same milestone in May! She was extremely sweet and invited Erick and I to join in the family celebrations at her home in Denmark, and we were so happy that we could attend!

I made a short video compilation of our photos/videos from the trip,

so click here if you want to see it!

Tusind Tak, Karina and Andrew, for including us in such a special celebration!

Shortly after we got back from Denmark, Erick and I went on a nice long break back to our home state of Alaska, where we got to participate in the annual Last Frontier Theatre Conference. It's always such a fun event, and it was great to meet with old friends and to make some new friends, too! In addition to the conference in Valdez, we also visited Fairbanks, Anchorage, Girdwood, Kenai, and Juneau. I almost filled an entire sketchbook over the three weeks we spent travelling.  Click here to see some of the drawings I completed on the Valdez portion of the trip. I'm thinking of perhaps publishing a book with some of my other sketches, so keep an eye out for new art updates!

July also brought a return trip to Dublin for more filming with the Skillsoft team! It was wonderful to be back in Ireland, even for a short visit. On the way home, I had about four hours to kill at the Dublin airport. After sketching at two other locations in the concourse, I ended up at the bar of the Marqette. While I was working on the sketch pictured above, the waitstaff soptted it and asked for a photo when it was finished. In return, they surprised me with the cocktail of the day: the Hemming Daiquiri! YUM!

I've been spending a lot of time this month doing lots and lots of personal art projects, sketching, and research. If you're not already following me on Instagram, check it out by clicking here for more updates on everything from my art and acting to my cooking/baking experiments!

That's about all for now! I'll be back again next month with another update <img height="22" src="https://static.wixstatic.com/media/5e9922_bbb9a23c29c9407f8a31e2fc45adead6.png_256" width="22">
