Happy '360' Thursday! Here are this week's resources, quote, and question. |

Mistakes are opportunities This very short and enlightening article "Mistakes are opportunities" explains three types of mistakes: slow-down opportunities, review opportunities, and feedback opportunities. Once you are aware of what kind of mistake you are making, you can apply strategies for transforming them into opportunities to grow your brain. To read the article, click here. |

Tip for students Think about some of the mistakes, or "beautiful mistakes" as I call them, that you have made recently. Categorize them into slow-down opportunities, review opportunities, and feedback opportunities. Reflect on how you can learn from these mistakes the next time as opportunities to grow. |

Tip for teachers Discuss these research findings with your students, kids, friends, and coworkers, anyone that you engage in teaching and learning with. Ask yourself and others how you think about making mistakes, what it means to be at something, and how you measure success. Is it the product or the process? |
