We are happy to share that our flagship nutrition awareness program has now gone offline! We launched the program in the same school where we first started our meal program in 2018. It's nice to be back to our home community and meet the kids face-to-face. We have also developed new partnerships and expanded the reach of our program. With these developments comes the need for more resources. This year, we are participating in DaanUtsav and invite you celebrate this week of joyful giving with us! There are various ways you can participate, including by joining our virtual cooking event on school tiffin meals this Saturday, Oct 8; trying your luck in our lucky draw; and sponsoring items on our WishTree. Check out these options below. And as always, do check out this quarter's Foodshaala story and try our new recipes. Happy eating! Raadhika Gupta |

Launching Offline Programs We are delighted to share that with the schools reopening, we have launched our nutrition awareness program offline! Our first offline program took place in RK Public School in Nathupur village, Gurugram - the same place where Foodshaala took its first steps by providing healthy meals. It is great to be back here, and to interact with the kids face-to-face. |

Meet Fatima 6th Class Student "Before this course I consumed a lot of junk food...and every month I went to the hospital. After this course, I know how to maintain a good and disease-free health. Thank you Foodshaala for this joyful course." |
"Before this course I consumed a lot of junk food, and ate so much fats like chips, Kurkure, pakore, samosa, etc. I didn't know that these things are harmful. And every month I got infection in my mouth and tongue. Every month I went to the hospital, and the doctor always told me to not eat junk food. |
After this course, I know about which foods are harmful for us. There are three types of fats and one fat is trans fat which is very harmful for us. After this course, for my good health, I am making changes to my diet and keeping a control on eating junk food. This is because I know that oily foods are harmful for us. After this course, I know how to maintain a good and disease-free health. Thank you Foodshaala for this joyful course." |
