Healing Principles part 6 - The perpetuation of the Cycle of Disorder
Yes, fundamentally it is Karma, be this our own personal doing [our actions and the consequences we create], or that of the family [the limiting or distorted beliefs and behaviors that were imprinted on us], or that of the tribe / nation, and the abuse they may have cast upon others [such heinous wrong-doing that now becomes the responsibility of many future generations].
Let me also clarify that many, many Old Souls choose to be born to difficult circumstances so as to ‘act as a shield / or a wall’ to stop the repeat of such patterns [and, by being the living example of ‘correct action’, inspire others to change positively].
So yes, Karma is inescapable... we can choose to kick and scream and throw a temper tantrum, loudly declaring that ‘all this is unfair’, and how we don’t deserve to be on the receiving end of such negativity... or we may just think that none of this applies to us; and whatever health challenges / Life limitations / social stressors we are experiencing are simply .... Life [to which I would ask why you’re accepting such platitudes, and if you truly believe that Life has no higher purpose ...?!]
But I digress...
Karma IS a part of Life - its purpose IS to teach us the Higher Laws, to help us make the world a better place, and ultimately create ‘the Brotherhood of Man’... [Heck, I think we need a wake-up call on this one !]
So, buckle up... roll up your sleeves, and DO something about your Life ... ultimately, you deserve better...IF you’re willing to do the work.
Oh yes - Karma doesn’t go away... it just gets tougher / harder / more demanding [hence, the many illnesses we may encounter]... So, in this Life - or future ones - whatever you don’t accomplish now you’ll have to face a much harder [read: more unavoidable] life challenge.
So, why do many people choose avoidance ? Why do so many look for a fix-it solution / a quick pill / a mere masking of symptoms... knowing full well that ‘we cannot heal that which we cannot feel’ [wise words from my sister !]
Here are probably some of the most difficult questions we must all ask ourselves -
Do I truly want to be healed ... be fully healthy ... be clearly rid of any physical-mental-emotional challenges ?
Am I ready for such total transformation... or does this disorder serve me in some way or other ? [Do I get special treatment... have people be nicer to me because of this... are there financial or other benefits ... or do I think that, because of my challenges, I am entitled to more - that society now ‘owes me’ ... or am I just too lazy to find a way to overcome all this... or am I in the ‘poor-me / pity-me / feel-sorry-for-me’ cycle ... ?]
Ultimately - how does my disorder serve me...? and ... Do I truly want to be healed ...?
This IS a most fundamental question - “Do I want to be healed ?”... and if so, “Am I ready to do the necessary work ” [if I am not, then no amount of ‘miracle work’ will succeed... because...hey, Karma is still here !]
Healing Karma is not difficult - fundamentally it requires us to (a) understand what the lesson is... and (b) learn it and incorporate it.
If it’s due to our own wrong doing, then there often is ‘reparation’ [“making it right”] ...
If it comes from Family Karma, then knowing that such is not our ‘truth’, return these unwanted energies back to the source [usually through ritual / ceremony]...
If it’s from our Tribe, then work with Spirit to see IF we have a role to play in all this [or not].
No matter what you choose be sure that you don’t glamorize yourself, nor avoid the work needed
And always remember - You do not walk this Path alone, there are many wonderful Brothers and Sisters to help you on the way... and so I greet you all, my heart friends,
Namaste ...
