"A Thin Line" in "Encore: Prize Poems 2021"

Hello, Friends! I have a new poem to share with you called A Thin Line, which was just honored with the National Federation of State Poetry Societies (NFSPS) Founders Award, First Prize!

As many of us find ourselves struggling more and more these days to find common ground, I wrote this poem out of frustration and also the hope to reach out to anyone who's feeling lonely out there on the thin line in this poem. I'm thankful to NFSPS for recognizing this poem and for publishing it in NFSPS's anthology, Encore: Prize Poems 2021—and to you for being here and keeping connected.  :)

Encore: Prize Poems 2021 is a fantastic collection of prize-winning poems and I'm so honored and excited to have two poems included! In addition to A Thin Line, my poem Light Fades received the NFSPS Founders Award 3rd Place. I'll share that one soon. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy A Thin Line and have a chance to take a look at Encore: Prize Poems 2021.

Wishing you love, solid ground and strong connections,

Linda Eve
