Colorado School of English Fall Session 2020 Newsletter

Our Fall 2020 Session started out strong, with students coming to the school to participate in our 'hybrid' program (some students in the classroom, some students calling in via Zoom), and opportunities to participate in some safe, socially distant activities. We also welcomed our newest teacher, Annie, to the CSE family. Keep reading to get to know her! Because we monitor COVID-19 levels in Colorado continually to make sure we are doing our best to keep everyone safe and healthy, we moved back to online classes for the last few weeks of the session as case numbers started to rise. We are grateful for the flexibility and continued commitment of our students who stuck with us during the rollercoaster ride of a year. Are you ready to take your English skills to the next level? Join our student body in 2021! We are accepting new applications for all of our programs. Click the link below to learn more about the programs we offer. Finally ... we are BACK to offering in-person classes at the school! Seats are limited, so click here to send us a message to reserve your spot. Keep reading to learn more. |

| | Need an idea for a socially distant activity? We had fun (and felt safe) visiting the Denver Art Museum! Click here to reserve your tickets ahead of time. Teens and children under 18 always get in for free! The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is another great place to enjoy a day out with the family. You can even take advantage of free days at the museum! The next free days coming up are February 28 & April 25 (click here to view more). Of course, everything is always changing during this pandemic, so we recommend double checking the museum's website before planning your visit. Looking for more ideas for safe winter activities? Welcome to our newest instructor, Annie! We are happy to have her on board. In her own words: "Education has always been a huge part of my life and I have acquired several professional certificates, including a B.A. in Design & Management from Parson's School of Design (NYC), a M.A. in Communication Studies from University of Miami, and a CELTA from Bridge English. After years working in Fundraising and Investor Relations, I have found my happy place teaching English with a focus on clear and impactful communications. I have lived and worked in Italy, Hong Kong, Colombia, and India. I can’t wait to continue visiting the countries where my students come from. When I’m not teaching you can find me dancing, crafting, perusing books at local bookstores, or doing research for my investment club." | | |
