Introduction from the coordinator
Carlos Heydorn Concepcion, TORRECID, CoFBAT Coordinator
Dear Colleagues,
Welcome to the 7th edition of CoFBAT Newsletter. CoFBAT project is on month 44 addressing the validation phase of novel cell concept. There was no better way to start this validation than by visiting the Varta plant at Ellwangen for our general assembly. CoFBAT cell provides a step forward in critical raw material dependency elimination and safety in use by gel electrolyte. In this edition, raw materials situation will be addressed. Technically, CoFBAT has disseminated their results in the 2nd webinar “Webinar on Material and component upscaling & recyclability and sustainability” hold on 26th of January as well as through clustering with other projects like BATRAW in which the advances in recycling concept was shared. Please take a short time to go over the main highlights of CoFBAT.
