Hi everyone,
June is always a special month for me since it's my birth month. What makes this one even more special, though, is the fact that I'll be turning 30 this June--officially moving out of my 20's and into a new decade for myself.
If I'm being completely honest (and true to my Gemini self), I used to hate each and every one of my birthdays. I made them some sort of morbid pity party about not being where I wanted to be in my life or career; here was this aging number reminding me of how much more successful other people my age seemed to be.
It wasn't until five years ago, when my 25th birthday came along, that those feelings started to change. I saw that day as a chance to reflect on all the wonderful people in my life. So many of them took the time to tell me they loved and appreciated me, and, in turn, I took the chance to do the same to them. Ever since, I've come to look forward to my birthday, and, with everything that's happened in my life and career over the last two years, I could not be any more grateful to be where I am--connecting with people.
Anyway, announcements time! Here are some things to look out for this month:
I've got shows galore with On the Trail this summer, and even several solo shows coming up! First one will be on Father's Day morning at Quarry Coffee for a Coffee and Cars event. Check the Shows section of my website for all dates, and if you aren't subscribed to those notifications, click the link and get direct emails for every show I add.
Thanks to all the new students that have signed up so far! I'm still offering a FREE trial lesson in the Services section of my website, so please share with anyone you may know looking for lessons, or sign up for one yourself.
I'll just leave these links to my socials on Instagram and Facebook for anyone interested in following me more directly.
May marked the beginning of the busy summer season ahead. I had a couple shows Memorial Day Weekend and another couple performances just this past weekend as well. Behind the scenes, work has been ongoing in Switzerland for my first single. There's been a lot of back and forth as we tighten things up and get everything ready for the next phase. As you can imagine, I cannot wait to get this project over the finish line and give you all a taste of what my team and I have created. Until then, I'll be doing my best to practice patience. Hope to see you at a show sometime soon.
With love,
Charlie
