Happy New Year!

Dear friends,

It’s the start of a new year. We hang our 2023 calendars; each month delivers a new image, and a grid of blank squares that are ours to fill. Each day a canvas for possibility. How will we fill each canvas?

With adventure. Community. Discovery. Music! 

ChamberFest Brown County is ready to kickstart 2023 with a concert on Saturday, January 21, 7 pm at the Nashville United Methodist Church for an evening of delectable music for violin and piano featuring two musical stars from South Korea: Hyunjee Chung on violin and Kyunghoon Kim on piano. Hyunjee has performed as soloist with the Seoul Philarmonic and has participated in some of the most elite music festivals in the world. She will be joined by Kyunghoon, a doctoral alumn and now member of the collaborative faculty at IU Jacobs, in a program including two magnificent violin sonatas by Beethoven and Prokofiev:

*This event will begin with a pre-concert talk discussing the origins and features of this unforgettable piece written during World War II
