Newsletter

Term 2 has been very rewarding and loads of fun

Since our last newsletter we have had a mixed bag of workshop presentations from in-house to online, parent and professional development.

School Readiness

This month we delivered our Set for Success. School Readiness workshop online via zoom twice, one session for families and one for educators.

Our parent session was well received by those who attended and we have received  lovely feedback from the educators who attended the sold out PD session.

If you would like to book us for a Zoom session please reach out or alternatively check out our website for details on our Brainstorming Behaviour in the Early Years PD and our School Readiness Teacher Training coming up later in the year.

Scissor Skills

Did you know…

Children need to strengthen the muscles in their hands in order to manoeuvre scissors correctly and hand eye co ordination needs to be engaged along with concentration and perseverance.

HACK...

Is your child struggling to hold the scissors correctly?

Why not pop a smiley face on their thumb to remind them which way to hold the scissors.....simple, fun and effective

Is  your child is left handed?

Please buy them left handed scissors, the blades on these scissors are set the opposite way to right handed scissors and will be much easier for them to manipulate.

We always aim to set them up for success.
