Engelhardt Music Group is excited to release the next single from Fast Track to radio.
Life's Highway is the next release off Fast Track's upcoming self-titled album, due out September 11. This is an extremely radio friendly track with a traditional, fun groove and a positive message that is perfect for today's airwaves.
This single showcases the highly skilled musicianship and harmony vocals that Fast Track has become known for. Fiddler Steve Day takes the lead vocal on this tune and is supported by Dale Perry (banjo), Ron Spears (bass/harmony), Duane Sparks (guitar/harmony), and Jesse Brock (mandolin).
Life's Highway, written by Bobby Smith (of Bobby Smith & The Boys From Shiloh), is the follow up to their charting debut single "Blue And Lonesome Again" and "I'd Like To Wander Back To The Old Home" and was produced by Adam Engelhardt & Glen Duncan at SonyTree Studios in Nashville, TN.
“We were looking at some songs to fill a specific spot on the album and I just happened to think of “Life’s Highway". I first heard Bobby Smith do the song way back about 1990, and then went on to do it with my Dad’s “family band.” I had always wanted to record that song someday and the rest of the guys really liked it, so we went with it. I think it turned out great and have fun doing it live with the Fast Track guys too!” -Steve Day
