HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

October news, treats, and a NC invitation!

Hello, friends! I've got some wonderful spine-tingling news!

This Friday morning (at a wickedly early hour) TJ and I'll be flying our broomsticks to Raleigh, NC for a women's performance of Last Nights of the King on Saturday, Nov. 3. As some of you know, I lived in the Carolinas for a couple years, so it will be a sweet treat to see old friends! Want to come? Click below to see the facebook event!

And, I'm excited to say I've just BOOooooooked my first gig - a training video for HCA (Hospital Corporation of America) - with my local agency, Talent Trek Nashville! Many thanks to the TT team! The shoot will be on the day after we get back from NC- call it double double weekend of trouble!

Free NC Show!

Three tricky treats for you before you go!

(Try saying that ten times fast!)

1. A GROAN...The pun costume strikes again! This year's is..."Nun of your Business!" Tried to make a flying nun hat...to no avail, so dinner napkins to the rescue! We thought we were being original, but then at the party someone mentioned a Bob's Burgers' character did it first. Womp womp...we still had a blast!

2. A PUMPKIN... Here's a spooky trick for the eye! My uncle Roger is a mad-scientist-pumpkin-surgeon and is getting better every year. You're welcome!

3. A TASTY Confession...This month I've participated in a 21 Day Reset with Love Yourself Fitness, an awesome program created by my friend and Nashvillian, Christina Charley. I'd love to say I lost the extra pounds I wanted to and that I'm heading into the next season with Wonder-woman-like energy, but I can't - not because of the program (It's great and you should try it!), but because some nasty thought-zombies Christina's helped me identify have been wreaking havoc in my brain, growling, "You can't trust yourself to make wise choices" or "You're not worthy of having a successful business." I know one shouldn't believe anything a zombie says, but getting from knowing to believing takes some work. It's been a special experience to continue that work with the others in the program while trying new recipes, honing meal prep skills, and eating whole and delicious food.

If you're feeling frustrated with your own health and looking for a pre-holiday reset, look her up! It's not a diet, but holistic lifestyle training. November starts a new one, and you don't have to be in Nashville to participate.

Love Yourself!

Hope you all have a safe, healthy, and fun Halloween! If the candy monster growls...maybe these ghouls can help!

Till next month!

-Katie
