It's been a beautiful day here in cali!

Finally.

Life has been pretty darn normal lately!

I just sat down after vacuuming my entire floor, which only took about two seconds. That's a big perk of living in a house that's approximately eight square feet. If you watched this week's vlog, you will have heard that I almost died a few days ago.

Not really, I'm just being dramatic.

I had just taken a shower when dad knocked on my door, saying there was a big tree being weighed down by the fresh snowfall that was, unfortunately, leaning right over my mini house.

He said it was probably fine, and to let him know if it started swaying. I said okay, and went on with my day.

Not even two seconds later, my phone rang...

Mom's panic-stricken voice was telling me to get out of my trailer as quickly as possible, because the tree was swaying now.

I grabbed my shoes, and my engagement ring, and ran out the door! If you want to see the end result, you can scroll down and watch the vlog below! Spoiler alert: Everything's fine.

Me and mom sat down today to finalize the wedding guest list, so that's another item checked off the to-do list.

I am so excited to get married! Ahhh! You know when you were a kid, and your parents surprised you with a fun trip to a theme park, or some sort of vacation, and then that's literally all you can think about until it happens? I feel like that.

A little over one hundred days, and it seems like forever away!

Although everyone says I need to enjoy my last little moments of being "single" while I can, so that's what I've been shooting for.

When we were cutting the swaying tree down by my camper, the Dodge Ram had gotten severely stuck in the mud along the way. They tried to get it out multiple ways, but failed! So, last night after work, I picked us up a winch. Dad and I hooked it up to the Ram today, and it came out beautifully. That's what mountain life's like, you know? Never knowing what to do, or how to do it, and then doing it anyway. Fun.

Tomorrow morning, mom and I are taking our trash to Sonora for our monthly dump run. We also recycle our cans/bottles/cardboard, so it's usually a pretty full load.

I personally love recycling! It makes me feel very accomplished.

Honestly, it's probably because I'm an overachieving organizer.

We will also be on the lookout for snow pants. That's right, folks.

My fiancé is taking me snowboarding this Saturday.

Pray for me.

Hopefully I don't fall too much. I know I'm not gonna do great, but I am very excited! It's fun having a sporty man in my life. He always pushes me out of my comfort zone, and encourages me to try new things! Trying new things can be awkward, or uncomfortable, but I've always felt pretty happy with myself when I push through.

I will be packing us a lunch, & we will enjoy a snowy picnic in the beautiful outdoors. I can't wait!

Here's something that's been on my heart today; read your bible!

I haven't sat down to read my word in weeks, and it's affecting me.

Everyone needs encouragement, especially when you're alone. So, I want to encourage each of you to simply open that big book and start reading. (I'm talking to myself, as well...)

It can honestly do no wrong! Five, ten minutes, you're golden.

Just take that time to feed your spirit! It'll change your whole perspective. Let's do it together.

"God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon's scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey."

~ Hebrews 4:12

Adios ya'll!
