Grace, peace, and joy be multiplied to you dear Livingsong family, Can you believe it, we are going to celebrate eleven (11) years of ministry this May! We honestly feel incredibly grateful for each of you who have faithfully prayed for us through the years and generously donated to the mission God has called us to. It has been a crazy rollercoaster ride to say the least but what an amazing God we serve. To celebrate our anniversary, we have decided to serve the unhoused community of Orlando with our new friends at SALT outreach, a non profit organization called to share Christ's love by serving the unsheltered through comprehensive mobile drop-in centers. They have organized a location in Orlando on Sunday May 15th, to have us come lead worship and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. We also prayerfully hope to bring a record breaking donation of undergarments for the men, women and children who we will be ministering to! Did you know these are the most needed but least donated items in shelters? As you may already know, participating in God's mission to the most marginalized people in society today is a large part of what we do. The fact is that you don't have to buy an international plane ticket to go to the mission field, because it is also right here in the U.S. While we are personally not opposed to traveling abroad for missions, God has persistently opened doors here in the states for 11 years now. We invite you to celebrate this anniversary blessing with us through participating in our efforts to meet this need for undergarments. If you are located in Central FL, we would be happy to swing by to pick up any unused undergarment items you would like to donate. If you prefer, we also have a couple of shipping addresses, please message us for that information. We pray you'll join us in this act of worship towards our generous God who is rich in mercy and grace. Since our last newsletter, in March we were blessed to serve several recovery support programs including Celebrate Recovery groups in Fort Pierce, Tampa, and Clermont FL, along with the Orlando Union Rescue Mission and Orlando Homeless & Outreach Soup Kitchen. Additionally, we visited our dear friends at Living Hope Church in Englewood, FL. to give a mission update. It was not nearly enough time spent with them but we are grateful for the sweet time of fellowship, worship, and sharing God's word. (see video clip) |

We are grateful for all the recovery program and emergency shelter staff and leaders who have individually been instrumental in organizing each service. We also recognize that every opportunity the Lord provides for us to serve is partner supported, so it is important to us to say thank you every chance we get. Thank you for your prayers and partnership commitment to this mission the Lord has called us to. The bottom line is, there is no greater, more paramount and urgent news than the saving message of the Gospel of Christ. We hope you like some of the photos taken at some of the services held in March provided below. Together we are making a difference in the lives of those we reach. “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” - Romans 5:8 |

So what’s next? Once we are finished with our Undergarment Drive on the 15th of May, Lord willing, we will start making our way back south for one last round through south Florida this year. Not as far south as Homestead, but a little over two hundred (200) miles south of Orlando. So far, it has been a fruitful twenty seven (27) memorable months in Florida filled with more ministry work than we expected, but we are tremendously grateful for every bit of it. For exact cities where we will be traveling to for ministry the next few months, specifications will be posted soon on our website at www.livingsongministry.com. We hope you'll stay plugged in. Finally, perhaps these closing words are specifically for you. Trust wholeheartedly in the Lord, and turn to His word to guide your every step. Seek His presence in your time of prayer and worship. Life may sometimes feel unnecessarily challenging, but you are not facing it alone. God is near, and remember, He is never early, never late, but He is always on time. “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” - Psalm 34:8 May your month ahead be filled with His grace, mercy, love and guidance in all your aspirations. God bless. Abiding in Him, Manny & Erika Lynn Garcia |
