Has anybody else been dreaming of all the holidays they're going to take once lockdown is over? January seemed to go by fairly quickly considering, and despite the increasingly mixed messages about taking summer holidays, I was pleasantly surprised by the number of clients wanting to book for later this year and into 2022.
Like myself, it seems everyone is eager for a change of scenery and the opportunity to spend quality time catching up with loved ones once the lockdown is lifted and it is deemed safe to travel again.
There is lots of positive news that probably helps to explains this, from the fact that over 12 million of the UK adult population have now received their first vaccine, to the intention that all over 50s should be vaccinated by May.
There is also more flexibility when booking, such as low deposits, later balance due dates (some as late as six weeks prior to travel) and free cancellations being offered with a full deposit refund.
Hopefully, further positive news will soon follow and I’ve no doubt that island destinations are going to be in high demand, and the hardest decision we have may be deciding where to head.
