Selling books is an artform, much like writing, and there are many ways to accomplish your sales goals. N. N. Light Author Promotions offers multi-tiered promotions, catering to busy authors with varying marketing budgets.

Tier 1: Book Heaven Wednesdays. It is a free basic book spotlight, highlighting your work. Authors will be featured each week and will be promoted heavily. We operate this as a taste of what you get with tier two.

Tier 2: Book/blog promotion and marketing for a small fee. You have the option of the following and the fee is $17.50 per service:

If your audiobook is available on Chirp, we will purchase a copy or you gift us a copy and will post our review on Chirp.

If your audiobook is available on Audible US and you provide us with a promo code, we will post our review on Audible US. If you do not have a promo code and it is available on Audible US, we will purchase a copy or you can gift us a copy. We will post our review on Audible US.

We cannot post our review to Amazon, Kobo, Apple, and/or Google Play. Our review is considered an editorial review. You have our permission to post our review or part of our review on these platforms.

Bookstagram. For as little as $20, we will create a bookstagram post with a customized graphic and post it to our Instagram account plus it will be a pinned tweet or pinned Facebook post for 24 hours. This is an inexpensive promo to reach readers. The graphic is yours to keep.

Pinterest Post. For as little as $20, we will create a bookish post with a customized graphic and post it to our Pinterest account where we have monthly views of 32.1K as of January 15, 2024. This is an inexpensive promo to reach readers. The graphic is yours to keep.

Tier 4: Social Media Graphics. Graphic Artist Nancy uses Canva and Book Brush for all graphics.

Tier 8: Monthly Multi-Author Events. Every month, we host a themed big author event. Each author showcases their books via a spotlight and there's an Amazon gift card giveaway for readers to enter. The cost is $18 USD per book which include a customized graphic, valued at $20 and $10 USD per social media add-on. What's a social media add-on? It's where the author can gain followers on certain social media platforms the organic way by having their info added to the Rafflecopter widget. The giveaway entrant gets bonus entries for following the authors' social media accounts. It's a proven way to get new followers and we're happy to offer it to authors. Each event has its own event page in N. N. Light’s Book Heaven which includes the links to each spotlight plus the giveaway widget.

Twice a month we offer two themed mini events. Each author showcases their books via a spotlight and there’s a giveaway ($10-$40 Amazon gift card, depending on how many authors participate) for readers to enter. The cost is $13 per spot which include a customized graphic, valued at $20. There aren’t any add-ons in order to keep the price low for authors. Each event has its own event page in N. N. Light’s Book Heaven which includes the links to each spotlight plus the giveaway widget.

Updated changes to our marketing strategy as of 2023:

We want give you a peek into our business model and our goals. As business owners, we met with a consultant who offered some very important tweaks we needed to make.

The first was expanding our marketing to be more than Twitter/X. With a good portion of our clientele plus readers in an uproar over the changes Elon Musk has done and continues to do, Twitter/X is not the primary focus for our marketing anymore. We've expanded our marketing to include Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, YouTube, Pinterest and Threads.

We've started N. N. Light's Book Heaven Authors and Readers Group this year. We share all of our promos and posts there.

We've also concentrated on growing our subscribers on N. N. Light's Book Heaven. Our subscribers are just over 13,000 and growing every day. Our followers/subscribers get an email for each post that is posted to our website.

We share across all of our social media platforms so more people can see what is new with Book Heaven.

In addition, we changed how our titles on our posts are designed. It makes it easier to share across all social media platforms. Droves of people are coming to our website and reading all of the posts. More people than ever have before.

We're growing our business to be inline with several of our competitors who are doing the same. We hope you will continue to grow with us and all of these rapid changes.
