Saved By Nature founder and Executive Director Richard Tejeda has been named Environmentalist of the Year by the Santa Clara County League of Conservation Voters! We've recently added several events in support of Measure T and the continued protection and access of open space, and in celebration of our new partnership with Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society. In addition, you can now join The Grove community by becoming a Saved By Nature annual member. |

An Award Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 30th, 2020 at 5:30pm PST. Awardees have done some outstanding or unique environmentally related work or achievement in Santa Clara County and include Lifetime Achievement Jean Dresden, Legislator of the Year Hon. Sergio Jimenez, Environmental Organization of the Year Amah Mutsun Land Trust, Environmentalist of the Year Richard Tejeda. |

We'd like to stop and acknowledge the Big Basin Redwoods State Park fire and our very own Vice President Heidi McFarland who lost her home in Boulder Creek, CA to the CZU Lightning Complex Fire. A fund has been setup for her family. Our hearts go out to the many others affected by the fires throughout California. |
